Although Ceris is at the helm of Rooted, she believes it is connection that makes good things happen. By supporting others with similar passions Ceris believes we all grow stronger…just like a woodland! So this page of connections is a tiny snapshot of the mycelium that connects Ceris and her comunity!
Ceris Williams Turner : Director
Ceris is our official ‘Forest Creature’ and brings a wealth of experience in the woods.
Ceris has been working in the woodland environment with adults and children for 20 years, she is an experienced trainer and facilitator, writing and delivering nature-based training for education and the private sector. As well as consultation for councils outdoor education provision.
From education, Forest Schools, bush craft, green woodwork and woodland management to art, yoga, music and ecological work, Ceris can create innovative courses, programs and training to engage any group.

The guys over at Sus Life are just incredible…I mean seriously wonderful! They are a charitable company who are so passionate about supporting their communities and connecting people to nature through courses, community projects and training.
They have supported my work for many years and if ever I need to run ideas through some amazing woodland brains these are the ones I go to. Alan and Stephie (directors) are so full of knowledge and genuine kindness, a real treat for anyone who has the pleasure of working with them…or just know them!

Wrekin Forest School
Ceris and Judie (director at Wrekin Forest School) have worked together to create Forest Skills, a 2 day course for schools to combine Forest Schools principals and outdoor learning curriculum goals. Empowering more schools to confidently use their outdoor spaces to enable their students to access the incredible befits working in the outdoors brings.
Judie, director of Wrekin Forest School has created a fabulous provision for everyone and anyone wanting to get out into the woods at Wrekin Forest Schools, she also runs a beautiful campsite form her woods, ideal for an off grid get away or a magical Forest Wedding! Check out her website here:
